Obligations of employers

  • Obligation to provide the employee with conditions favorable for performing the work agreed upon;
  • Obligation to provide the employee with adequate remuneration for undertaking the work according to law;
  • Obligation to ensure safety and health of the employee;
  • Obligation to protect personal integrity (dignity and privacy) of the employee;
  • Obligation to protect personal data of the employee.

Obligations of employees

  • Obligation of the employee to comply with employer’s requirements and instructions;
  • Obligation of the employee to perform the work with due diligence;
  • Obligation of the employee (in cases laid down by law and in collective agreement) to perform work other than stipulated in the employment contract, provided that such work is within the scope of the employee’s professional training
  • Obligation of the employee to refrain from any actions that may be harmful or detrimental to the interests of the employer;
  • Obligation of the employee to comply with and implement the regulations on occupational safety and health in order to protect their own life and health, as well as the life and health of others;
  • Obligation of the employee to notify the employer about the relevant circumstances that affect or could affect the performance of their contractual obligations;
  • Obligation of the employee to keep business secrets;
  • Obligation of the employee to respect the statutory prohibition of competitive activity for the duration of their employment.
